The Festival Commons at Charles R. Wood Park, located at the southern end of historic Lake George, is an ideal location for your next event. The beauty and proximity of The Festival Commons at Charles R. Wood Park in Lake George offers something unique for each season and every occasion.
Warren County and the Village of Lake George, New York elected to designate 2.5 acres of the West Brook Conservation Initiative Project to a “Festival Space,” which would service as an economic engine for the park, as well as the Region. This centrally located space within the park has been designed to be flexible to host a variety of fee and non-fee based events. Whether it be large or small, this multi-purpose, modern event facility in Lake George, NY can host a multitude of functions, including: Theatre, Dance, Live Music, Re-enactments, Craft Fairs, Flea Markets, and Farmers Markets; Car Shows, Boat Shows, Motorcycle Shows, Holiday Festivals, Fundraisers, Corporate Functions, Press Events, and much more!

Choose from three rides 50-miles ~ 17-miles ~ 7-miles – a fun summer day outing – join in and see the beautiful scenery of Warren County.
All rides are via the Warren County Bikeway, area roads and streets
Lake George Tour ~ 50-miles north to Lake George and along State Route 9L to Assembly Point and Cleverdale south on Ridge Road/Route 9L through Glens Falls and west to West Mountain Road back to starting point.
Bloody Pond Ride ~ 17-miles north to Lake George begins at 12:58pm.
Family Friendly Glen Lake Ride ~ 7-miles – a great day to spend with the family or maybe this can be an introduction to get the feel and fun of biking.

All proceeds benefit Freedom Machines, NY an organization providing bikes to people in recovery ~ giving them a little push towards a happy and healthy lifestyle.
The 35th Annual ESTRA Tow Show returns to Festival Commons in the Charles R. Wood Park for the second year in a row.
View a variety of fascinating trucks at this family-friendly show in late spring.
There is a Tow Truck Beauty Contest, Meet & Greet and Cigar & Cognac Night as part of this three-day event.

Americade is a multi-brand motorcycle touring rally, with an estimated 100,000-200,000 visitors during the 6-day event. It’s a convention of tourers, sport-tourers, and cruising motorcycles enjoying a week-long festival of motorcycling. The huge expo offers the most demos in the U.S.
This year Americade will offer an expo on the Festival Commons grounds.
Other offerings during Americade include guided tours in the beautiful Adirondack Park, and the Green Mountains of Vermont. Americade also includes a massive trade show with more than 200 vendors, demos and displays from most major motorcycle manufacturers, catered boat cruises, stunt shows, comedian Alonzo Bodden and much, much more!
To participate, most attendees register for a full-week wristband, giving them access to the trade show, the demos and displays and much more.
Americade is a gathering of friendly, fun-loving folks, for whom motorcycling is a social hobby.
Make Father’s Day extra colorful this year and head to Lake George for a 3k Color Run!
This family event is a great way to start the day celebrating Dad. Since it’s a 3k, it’s great for people of all fitness levels.
The course will loop around Festival Commons at the Charles R. Wood Park and include scenic areas along West Brook down to Beach Road.
This event is part of the Law Enforcement Officers Weekend, so proceeds go toward bringing families of fallen officers to Lake George for a weekend of fun and relaxation during the annual conference.

The 5th Annual Adirondack Wine & Food Festival (presented by Adirondack Winery)will be held June 29 & 30th in Lake George! The Festival showcases some of the best wineries, breweries, distilleries, artisan food vendors, crafts and food trucks New York has to offer!
Take your taste buds on an unforgettable journey as you are introduced to over 120 of New York’s best wineries, craft beverage makers, artisan food vendors, food trucks and more, with the beauty of Lake George as your backdrop!
This two-day multi band event will feature several of the priemere touring bands currently hot on the festival circuit.
Prided on it’s incredible production and party atmosphere, our festival features two days and two stages with an additional late night rage stage at the famous King Neptune’s Pub. We will also have an incredible beer and wine selection as well as the circuits finest food and merchandise vendors. If that’s not enough, we will have a huge adult obstacle course to burn off all that extra musical energy.
The Adirondack Nationals Car Show takes place at the Fort William Henry and Festival Commons area in the Charles R. Wood Park.The car club Albany Rods & Kustoms has members from all over the Upstate NY area. ARK was founded in 1983. In 1985, ARK hosted their first event “The Highland Farms Car Show” in Altamont N.Y. In 1986 it started “The Mom and Apple Pie Car Show.” These first shows were small and drew less than 100 cars. In 1988 ARK held a “by invitation” show called the Adirondack Nationals at the Sheraton Inn of Glens Falls, NY. There were 268 cars. The following year, the show was moved to its present location on the grounds of the Fort William Henry Resort in Lake George, N.Y. The event just keeps getting bigger and better. They now average 1,500 cars every year! People from all over the country bring their cars to this show and it is considered a “must attend” event by many.
